Peel police are investigating after human remains were found in Brampton on Thursday afternoon. The Ontario Provincial Police discovered the remains in the area of Highway 410 and Bovaird Drive during an unrelated investigation. The time frame for identifying remains is dependent on how long the body has been decomposing, Mooken said. Police have not determined how long the remains have been at the location, however they believe at least a 24 hour period has passed, Mooken said.
