The Premier League footballer placed a bet on Mrs Milner, the winner of the Pertemps Network Final on Thursday. The former England midfielder told his Twitter followers about his successful bet and confirmed he was not one of its owners. While another added: "Haha I would like to say thanks to @JamesMilner otherwise I wouldn't be quids in today!!"
