Jamaica Blue pulls out of Blenheim's new mini-mallSCREENSHOT An advert for a Blenheim franchise has been removed from the Jamaica Blue website. Australian cafe chain Jamaica Blue hoped to open a franchise in the former Countdown building in Redwoodtown in March next year but pulled out due to feasibility issues. SCREENSHOT Jamaica Blue advertised for a cafe in Redwoodtown to open in March 2018. Foodco NZ was not convinced Jamaica Blue would have brought a product that was not already in Redwoodtown and the whole of Blenheim. The building is owned by Redwoodtown Development Ltd.Director Phil Robinson declined to comment but said he would have an announcement on the development in January.
