His Imperial Highness, Prince Ermias Sahle Selassie, President of the Crown Council of Ethiopia, will be Jamaica’s special visitor during Heritage Week, according to Minister of Culture Olivia Grange. According to a press statement issued by the culture ministry on Friday, the Prince, the grandson of Emperor Haile Selassie, will arrive in Jamaica on October 13 for a week of official activities. The National Honours and Awards Ceremony at King’s House and the National Heritage Week Interfaith Service are two examples. Prince Selassie also visited Jamaica in 2016. The theme of Heritage Week, which finishes on Monday, October 17, is “Re-igniting Greatness Through Our Heritage.”
