Columbus Blue Jackets right wing Cam Atkinson was placed on injured reserve Thursday due to an ankle sprain, the club announced while making a series of other moves. Left wing Jakob Lilja was recalled, while three players — center Ryan MacInnis, and defensemen Gabriel Carlsson and Adam Clendening — were added on emergency recall from the AHL’s Cleveland Monsters. The two-time All-Star has collected 21 points (nine goals, 12 assists) in 35 games his season. MacInnis, Carlsson and Lilja are back with the Jackets after they were reassigned on Dec. 23 to Cleveland. The Jackets are also missing right wing Oliver Bjorkstrand and defenseman Ryan Murray, both of whom were previously placed on IR.
