Jack Tame and Hilary Barry are due to be announced as the new hosts of Breakfast next week - but won't be on-air together until next year. It's understood the pair were given the option to leave then but both chose to keep going, hosting the programme this week. Christie and Chalmers-Ross were told their time on the Breakfast couch was up last week, following a meeting with TVNZ news boss John Gillespie. New York-based Tame arrived back in New Zealand last week to fill-in for Mike Hosking on Seven Sharp but is understood to be leaving again soon.
