LEDUC — Rachel Homan comes to the final of Sunday’s Home Hardware Canada Cup with a new identity. For starters, she’s no longer Ottawa’s Rachel Homan. She’s St. Paul, Alberta’s Rachel Homan. So Homan, 30, who lives in St. Paul with husband Shawn Germain, a former minor league player, mostly in the East Coast Hockey League, now feels free to publically declare herself as being from St. Paul. The winning women’s and men’s teams become the first two teams to earn direct entry into the Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings Olympic Trials in Saskatoon.
