JL leader held over death of 2 teenage boys in citybdnews24.com :Police have arrested Jubo League leader Arifur Rahman Tuhin in connection with clashes between two Awami League factions in Dhaka's Mohammadpur and Adabor that resulted in the deaths of two teenage boys in a road accident. Dhaka Metropolitan police Tejgaon Division Deputy Commissioner Bilpob Kumar Biswas said that Adabar Jubo League Convener Tuhin was arrested on Saturday night. Mohammadpur Police OC Jamal Uddin Mir told this news agency thatTuhin would be brought to court to request a five-day remand for questioning. Arifur Rahman Tuhin is known as a follower of Awami League Joint General Secretary Jahangir Kabir Nanak and recently lost a City Corporation race for councillor. The case accuses 20-25 unnamed individuals, said OC Jamal Uddin Mir.
