JK Rowling had confirmed Dumbledore was gay awhile back after the final Harry Potter book had been released. "Their relationship was incredibly intense," she said in the Distinctly Dumbledore feature on the Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald Blu-Ray. "It was passionate, and it was a love relationship. But as happens in any relationship, gay or straight or whatever label we want to put on it, one never knows really what the other person is feeling. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is out now as a digital download and will be released on 4k, Blu-Ray, 3D and DVD on March 18.
