The drop-by was your typical photo op – and Trump was ready, wearing a striped skirt that fashion watchers quickly identified as an Ivanka Trump item retailing for $89. Trump wore another striped skirt from the line to a recent visit, with daughter Charlotte, to the Supreme Court. She’s worn $2,900 “Patras” onyx earrings and the “Claudia” purse (no longer available online) in public outings. The product placement comes at a perilous time for the Ivanka Trump fashion line, which was recently dropped by Nordstrom, prompting an angry tweet from Dad/POTUS.
