Italy's annual BIT anticipates Dubai Expo themes 5% rise in Mideast visitors expected(ANSAmed) - MILAN, FEBRUARY 10 - Innovative, experience-based, and immersive tourism will be one of the themes that Italy will be taking to the Dubai Expo on October 20. Meanwhile, during the annual International Tourism Exchange (BIT), taking place through Tuesday at fieramilanocity, Italy's commissioning body for the World Expo is giving a taste of what they will see in the autumn. The Expo is expected to be a very important opportunity to attract more tourists from the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia, which in the coming years will generate greater experience-based tourism demand. The School of Management of the Milan Politecnico have assessed Expo 2020 to be a growth factor for tourism to Italy. In the Italian pavilion at the first World Expo ever in the Arab World, there will be projects and best practices for travelling in addition to showcasing the country's landscapes and artistic-historic heritage of the various regions.
