"Their non-recognised parent is essentially a legal stranger - and if their legal parent were to pass away or be incapacitated, they would have no legal guardian or parent. "It's discrimination of a group of people who, because of their sexual orientation, have had to build their families in a non- traditional manner. "It's clear to see that the discrimination extends to children born through any non-traditional manner."
