According to him, “everyone believes it is time for Ntim to ascend to the chair and I believe it, I don’t doubt it”. Mr Ntim’s close contender, Alhaji Abubakari Abdul-Rahman, alias Alhaji Short, who is the immediate-past Upper West Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), also picked his nomination forms the previous week. The NPP will elect new national officers at its national delegates’ conference in Koforidua between June 15 and 17, 2018. The seven-day window for picking nomination forms opened on Thursday, May 3 2018.
