GIADEC needs $4 billion for expansion of aluminium value chain for industrial developmentAccording to the corporation, no individual or private entity has been earmarked to receive the Nyinahin bauxite concessions. GIADEC further explained that the Nyinahin leases, along with other bauxite leases, are currently before Parliament for ratification in line with constitutional requirements. The corporation urged the public to disregard the reports, stressing that they do not reflect government policy or GIADEC’s mandate.
