(AP) — Taylor Heinicke does not think there is a quarterback competition at Washington’s training camp. “I come in every day just trying to get better, and I think he thinks the same thing,” Heinicke said Friday. “(Fitzpatrick) does a lot of things that you sit there and you watch him and you say, ‘Well, he does that because he’s a veteran,’” Rivera said. Allen is coming off a broken left ankle and could be in the mix soon, but for now it’s Fitzpatrick and Heinicke.
