Firefighters were called to Dunedin Airport as a precaution due to issues with an inbound plane. A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said crews from Outram and Lookout Point stations were called to the airport. The aircraft landed safely at 5.46pm and was escorted back to the hangar, he said. Firefighters were called as a precaution and the alert was a low level one.
