Issah Chipera won the Kwale governor ODM ticket during the primaries held in the county on Friday. Chipera will face off with incumbent Salim Mvurya, who defected from ODM to Jubilee last year, in the August 8 polls. County returning officer Richard Amenya also declared Zuleikha Juma as the ODM women representative flag bearer. She won with 11,320 votes against Fatuma Masito's 8,677 whereas Issah Juma won the Senator ticket.
