President Uhuru Kenyatta will host Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today on a three–day state visit. Netanyahu is reciprocating Uhuru’s three-day visit to Israel earlier this year. During his visit to Israel in February, Uhuru and Netanyahu signed an agreement on stronger collaboration in water and irrigation. He said Israel is a critical partner because of its development assistance in security and defence, agriculture and important investments. Netanyahu told the cabinet his visit “is part of a major effort to return to Africa in a big way”.
