Israeli forces continued their attacks on Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip, and completed their encirclement of the Jabaliya refugee camp, the Israel Defense Forces said on Tuesday morning. Israeli forces also raided Hamas’s General Security Headquarters inside the UN administered refugee camp. The strikes were in response to Hezbollah’s rocket fire on Israel on Monday. At least 1,200 people were killed in Hamas’s attacks on Israeli communities near the Gaza border on Oct. 7.
