Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that Pakistan is willing to do everything possible to help achieve Afghanistan “all-inclusive settlement which is vital for regional peace and prosperity”. Gen Qamar made these remarks on Tuesday after a delegation of Afghan political leaders called on him, a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday. The army chief said Pakistan desired broad-based relations with Afghanistan during the detailed discussions over the prevailing situation in the war-torn country with the delegation. Afghan delegation acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan Army's sacrifices, untiring efforts and contributions for peace, stability and socio-economic development of Afghanistan.
