The 'Knowle­dge Platfo­rm' was select­ed from over 3,000 applic­ants worldw­ideSocial impact organisation Knowledge Platform has bagged the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) funded Grand Challenge award. The organisation was selected from over 3,000 innovative applicants worldwide with only 15 being chosen to bring their interventions to life. In partnership with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Knowledge Platform will soon be launching Birds & Bees: a classroom without walls. The Knowledge Platform is one of the only organisations in Pakistan to have partnered with Gates Foundation for an education-based intervention. The organisation’s Birds and Bees programme teaches young learners from across Islamabad to take responsibility for the health and wellbeing of birds and bees.
