The WSJ’s Jason Gay discovers that e-Bikes, electric bikes with a motor assistant, are the perfect way to commute to work (Originally Published June 14, 2017). An entry level e-bike can run $2,000 or more, and that number rises quickly as you upgrade to stronger brakes, smoother shifters and a lighter frame. But despite this initial price hurdle, sales of battery-powered bicycles have tripled over the past three years, and the e-boom shows no signs of slowing down. So is owning one really worth it? YesE-bikes are perfect commuting vehicles for young urbanites.
