IPOH: A woman was killed when a tree fell on her car on Jalan Sultan Nazrin Shah, Simpang Pulai here. According to a witness, the incident opposite the Symphony Suites Hotel occurred at about 3.30pm Saturday. There were three people in the car and several motorcyclists helped to get the deceased woman and two others, believed to be the woman's husband and child, out of the vehicle. They two injured have been sent to the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital for treatment. Fire and Rescue personnel have since removed the tree that fell on the car.
