Education sector lawmaker Ip Kin-yuen demanded that Chief Executive Carrie Lam apologize for her claim that some school lessons are being used to give children "false and biased information," saying she has offended tens of thousands of teachers in Hong Kong, RTHK reports. Lam had told the Ta Kung Pao newspaper that she is concerned that some subjects, such as liberal studies, could have been "penetrated" and that students are being "poisoned.'' "She has failed in dealing with all these things and tries to put the blame on the education sector.
