MANILA, Philippines — A tropical cyclone is expected to form and make landfall in the country this month, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said yesterday. PAGASA weather specialist Benison Esterase said the chances of tropical cyclone formation are high especially if the entry point is in the eastern parts of Mindanao. “The landfall of the possible tropical cyclone may be in Caraga, Visayas and Palawan,” he said. If a tropical cyclone forms, it will be named Caloy.
