Page and Evan Rachel Wood play sisters Nell and Eva, living with their single dad (Callum Keith Rennie) in a remote west-coast forest home. This means that Into the Forest is either trying to fill a niche that doesn’t even exist (yet! Into the Forest elides over a few plot points; certainly its characters seem unusually well fed after many months without fresh groceries.
