Christchurch performer Derek Flores, aka The Unicorn, begins his residency at the Austin Club this month. The Austin Club is a “sexy little place to drink and converse”, Derek Flores says. He can’t sing, so his shows will be closer to “boozy, intimate storytelling” than a cabaret performance. One visit to Austin Club, and Flores knew it was perfect for the character.
