Steve Emery, 50, is a keen photographer and was out early last Saturday morning with his wife, Lynn, daughter Meg, 15, and friends to spot the Northern Lights. Steve EmerySteve’s pictures were spotted by the New York Times on a Facebook page and he was messaged by staff asking if the newspaper’s site could use it. His photo was used in the article In Britain, Chasing a Glimpse of the Northern Lights, published yesterday, May 18, as the main image.
