During the presidential campaign, Mr. Krzanich planned and then canceled a fund-raiser for Mr. Trump. “We focus on the issues that we care about.”In the case of Mr. Trump, Intel said it agreed with his desire to improve the investment climate for American manufacturers. “We care about hiring the best and brightest people around the world,” Mr. Smith said. Mr. Smith said Mr. Trump had offered Intel no financial incentives to build the factory.
