On Tuesday’s broadcast of “Late Night With Seth Meyers,” Cooper recalled how his mother, Gloria Vanderbilt, would occasionally refer to Cher as her “fantasy daughter” when he was growing up. “All throughout my childhood, actually, my mom would refer to people as her fantasy [children],” Cooper, 49, revealed. Cooper is currently promoting the book he and Vanderbilt co-wrote, The Rainbow Comes and Goes: A Mother and Son On Life, Love and Loss, which is now out in paperback.
