On Monday, a report by TMZ announced that the royal newlyweds will be spending their honeymoon in the ultra-luxurious Outlook Cabin at Alberta’s Jasper Park Lodge. Jasper Park Lodge is not to be confused with the Banff Springs Hotel, a slightly more famous Fairmont property located several hours’ south. While the Banff Springs Hotel is a traditional Canadian railway hotel, the Jasper Park Lodge is a slightly more rustic collection of semi-private wilderness cabins. Marilyn Monroe also paid a visit to the Jasper Park Lodge around the same time, staying in the also-massive Point Cabin. Markle and Harry appear to be the first royal couple to honeymoon in Canada.
