Photo : BSSRANGPUR, Dec 28, 2025 (BSS) - Inquilab Moncho's Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) unit and student leaders have staged a sit-in programme here demanding justice for the murder of Sharif Osman Hadi, a frontline fighter of the July uprising. The Inqilab Moncho leaders and activists and ordinary students took a stand at Shaheed Hadi Square (formerly known as the DC intersection) in Rangpur metropolis at 3 pm on Sunday. The participating student leaders from the programme demanded the immediate arrest of those involved in the murder of Hadi, including the mastermind. At that time, the protesters raised various slogans including 'Justice, justice, justice - we want justice for Hadi's murder', 'Who are you, who am I? The sit-in programme has been arranged in protest against the assassination of the Inqilab Moncho spokesperson Sharif Osman Hadi, an aspiring candidate for Dhaka-8 constituency in the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Polls.
