The 45th Jawaharlal Nehru National Science, Mathematics and Environmental Exhibition for Children-2017 got off to an enthusiastic start at St. Mary’s High School in the coal town. A scintillating cultural show featuring impressive dance performances by schoolchildren marked the inaugural session. Students from more than 200 schools including government and private schools are participating in the science exhibition. Models on “bionic eye” and other innovative concepts highlighting technology-aided healthcare solutions grabbed the attention of visitors.
