With the Vancouver Canucks suddenly facing an injury crisis on the blue-line, the call to Utica, N.Y. has been made. Alex Biega — waived and shipped back to the minors 10 days ago — and prospect Guillaume Brisebois will join the Canucks in Glendale, Ariz., where the Canucks play the Arizona Coyotes Thursday evening at Gila River Arena. Canucks Alex Edler and Chris Tanev suffered injuries in Wednesday night’s 3-2 shootout win in Las Vegas over the Golden Knights. Both Biega and Brisebois were absent from practice with the Comets on Thursday morning. I think the Canucks would be more interested in Juolevi play in Utica and have Brisebois sit in NHL.
