The slain militants were involved in the attack on a BSF post in Tangdhar sector, in which three jawans of the force were injured. The Army on Sunday said it killed three infiltrators in north Kashmir's Kupwara district. A Srinagar-based defence spokesman told The Hindu that three militants were killed in Tanghdar area and three weapons were recovered from them. North Kashmir's Kupwara and Baramulla districts are witnessing increased militant activity in the past one month. Around 12 militants have been killed in these frontier districts.
