A huge blaze broke out in the rooftop garden of Manchester's brand new city centre restaurant The Ivy - which had only been open for six weeks. Witnesses have been sharing dramatic footage of the fire raging across the roof terrace of the luxury fine dining eatery. Tweeters speculated about the fire pits and patio heaters on the roof terrace, although firefighters have yet to establish the cause. The Ivy Spinningfields' website says the building houses two restaurants, a roof terrace and two private dining rooms. A spokesperson for the Ivy Collection told MailOnline: 'The fire at the Ivy Spinningfields was quickly and very efficiently contained by the excellent work of the Fire Services.
