New Delhi, Aug. 11 (Agencies): Industrial output entered the negative territory in June, contracting by 0.1 per cent as the manufacturing and capital goods sectors slowed down. Factory output measured in terms of the Index of Industrial Production had grown by eight per cent in June 2016. On a quarterly basis, factory output growth during April-June slowed down to two per cent from 7.1 per cent in the corresponding period last year. This is the first time in the current financial year that the industrial output has declined. The top groups pulling down or pushing up IIP growth.
