The woman got into a relationship with one of the accused over the phone a few days ago, according to the case filedA woman from the Tripura community was allegedly raped by six people, including a man with whom she had a relationship, in Lama upazila of Bandarban. The incident took place at a house in Purbachambi, a remote hilly area in Aziznagar union of the upazila, early on Monday. The prime accused of the case, Nurul Huda, 27, a resident of Puitta Para of Sarai union of the upazila, is currently on the run. According to the case statement, the woman got into a relationship with Nurul over the phone a few days ago, who soon promised to marry her. Lama police station OC Mizanur Rahman said drives are being conducted to arrest the accused persons.
