Indian High Commissioner Harsh Vardhan Shringla will receive the relief materials and hand over to the Bangladesh authorities at around 8.3Oam, the High Commission said. Relief materials contain medicine, foodstuff and tents. An official at the Bangladesh foreign ministry said the ship was closely monitoring the situation in the high sea. According to the Indian disaster management protocol, this vessel always remains ready in the Bay of Bengal when a situation builds up. It also keeps limited relief materials onboard for the survivors.
