An Indian Air Force plane with 29 people on board has gone missing in the Bay of Bengal amid inclement weather. The plane took off from Tambaram in Chennai for Port Blair in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Of the people on board, six are crew members, reports the Times of India. The Navy, the Coast Guard and the IAF have launched a joint search and rescue operation. It lost radar contact around 8:45am on Friday.
