Nirgud­e, 25, allege­dly murder­ed the woman becaus­e she refuse­d to have sex with himMumbai Police has arrested a man who allegedly murdered a woman he met on Facebook because she refused to have sex with him, Press Trust of India reported. “The woman was there to meet Haridas Nirgude, 25, who she had recently befriended on Facebook,” police told the Times of India newspaper. Two arrested for blackmailing girl onlineThe neighbours informed the police after they found the woman’s body outside Nirgude’s apartment. Attacks by jealous partners and stalkers is common in India as violence against women is deeply entrenched throughout India. The girl stated that two men met her when she had gone to a local eatery near her house around 5pm.
