The International Cricket Council's Anti-Corruption and Security Unit (ACSU) has taken cognizance of India Today's sting operation on the Pune pitch curator Pandurang Salgaonkar. Salgaoncar was caught on India Today's camera agreeing to manipulate some bounce, some movement and some balance between bat and ball for the Wednesday ODI at the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) stadium. Former India captain Sourav Ganguly said it would be unfair to fire the BCCI over a mistake made by the Pune pitch curator. The match began on schedule after ICC match referee Chris Broad cleared the pitch. The ball now appears to be in the ICC's court and all eyes will be on the game's world governing body.
