I have been awash in hand sanitisers for the past few months, from the bog-standard functional type to the more elaborate offerings put out by smart beauty brands. I have half a dozen spray bottles rattling around my handbag (ancient old basket, actually. As we all know, a hand sanitiser is a hand sanitiser, and as long as it does the job, what it feels or smells like isn’t the foremost consideration. Except that since it is crystal clear that we’re all going to be using them several times a day for months to come, it might as well be nice. So I’ve upgraded mine and, weirdly, this very tiny act makes a disproportionately big difference.
