Police say the youth illegally entered India and died from electrocutionThe Indian Border Security Force has handed over the body of a Bangladeshi youth at the Sherpur border. The deceased was identified by a single name as Ershadul, a resident of Apuarkhata village in Ulipur Upazila of Kurigram. OC Sanowar said Ershadul had left home on Oct 5, saying he was going to the market. He later crossed into India illegally via the Ulipur border, where he reportedly died from electrocution. The Indian High Commission was contacted, and after completing the formalities, the body was handed over, the OC said.
