Robbers have abducted a child and stolen valuables during a daytime home invasion in Dhaka’s Azimpur. The incident took place at a residence near Lalbagh Tower on Friday. “The child’s mother is a government employee, and they live in a rented house in Azimpur,” said Md Jashim Uddin, deputy commissioner of the DMP’s Lalbagh Division. Both the child’s mother and the new subtenant were in the house during the robbery. The robbers then tied up the mother and left with the child, along with other valuables,” he said.
