Six weeks into a two-month lockdown triggered by a fresh outbreak of Covid-19 that saw daily infection numbers spike at 723, Melburnians are doing it tough. The thought of moving back to New Zealand has crossed her mind, but with a house, mortgage and entire life in Melbourne, she doesn’t think she will. Maybe not so much [during] lockdown, but until this happened I wouldn’t have considered moving back. I enjoy my life here in Melbourne, and am very excited for what the future holds. “Life outside of work feels a bit strange, but it’s something we all have to learn to get used to.
