Adelani Adepegba, AbujaDiplomats and foreign embassy workers have commenced their national identity number registration at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja. The PUNCH learnt that foreign diplomats as well as embassy officials begun enrolment for the NIN on Monday. Findings, however, indicate that the enrolment was slow on account of inadequate equipment at the registration centre located on the fourth floor of the Tafawa Balewa Building, Central Business District. Our correspondent, who visited the centre on Tuesday, observed about 10 foreigners said to be Malian embassy staff waiting to be attended to by the officials of the National Identity Management Commission. A senior official said the registration process was slow because only one computer was available for the exercise.
