Hurricane Irma, a category 5 is likely to make landfall in southern Florida, and is being listed among the most powerful hurricanes as it sustained 185 mph winds for more than 24 hours. The US hurricane center reported that Hurricane Irma, expected to arrive near the Florida by Saturday of Sunday, will bring life-threatening storm surge and wind impacts to the state. According to the US National Weather Service, Hurricane Irma is the strongest storm ever in the Atlantic.
