No, I’m not talking about a little game I play to pass the time before the in-flight movie begins. It’s a drive that can’t be ignored, and eventually, being stranded on the mountaintop long enough without sustenance is going to push the survivors toward cannibalism. There’s no etiquette book spelling out the appropriate amount of time to wait before bringing up the topic of eating other humans, and certainly each situation is going to be different. Of course, if I’m honest with myself, I would never be the one to suggest cannibalism in such a scenario. Come to think of it, I’m surprised more people don’t want to travel with me.
