President William Ruto has commended everyone who has participated in the first-ever Africa Climate Summit. In his closing remarks on Wednesday, Ruto said he was satisfied with the work well done in the first Summit and the progress that has taken place. Ruto commended the Committee of African Heads of State on Climate Change for giving the opportunity to champion climate action and green industrialisation. He also extended his arm of gratitude to the African Union, and the African Union Commission, for unstinting support for his leadership of CAHOSCC, and for the Summit. The summit scheduled from September 4 to 6 sought to profile Africa as part of the climate crisis solution.
